On the coldest night of the year so far, Impact Recordings launched their website
and the new digital label Impact Digital Recordings at the The Fridge in Brixton
South London. It didn't take long to warm up with the likes of Impact DJ's
Steve Blake, Greg Brookman, James Lawson and Trevor McLachian raising the temperature
with some HOT Impact tunes.
Greg Brookman presented the A.L.I.V.E PA and had the dance floor rammed.
Greg laid down a live version of his latest release Tweakin which rocked
the house. Greg brought together genres of music that not only surprised
but delighted.
He even made time to giving away signed copies of Impact's Tweakin on
vinyl, half way through his set.
It was an uplifting high energy set,
which easily became one of the highlights
of the night.
Impact Digital's latest
releases "No
Turning Back" by Dave Lochrie and "Your Dream" by Brad Thatcher, were well
received with whistle and hands in the air. As these top tunes were pumped
out T-Shirts and more vinyl were given away by Impact Recordings. The first
weekend into the New Year set the standard for 2006.
Impact Recordings would like to thank all those who braved
the cold and made the night the success it was. Impact Recordings would
also like to thank TWISTED, who promoted the night for us and did a fantastic
Job. We wish them and you all a Happy New Year for 2006.
